You've got questions and we've got answers! Please reach us at logan@myneighborsmaid.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Yes, My Neighbor's Maid offers both one-time and recurring cleaning services to fit your needs. One time or first time cleans often take much longer than a recurring, maintenance clean. We do our best to estimate the length of the clean based on the details you provide and will always communicate if and when we realize a clean will take longer than initially quoted.
My Neighbor's Maid serves the entire Denver metropolitan area, Lakewood, Littleton, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Englewood, Glendale, and Centennial. Contact us today to see if we serve your area.
My Neighbor's Maid uses eco-friendly cleaning products that are safe for you, your family, your pets, and our staff. Some of our favorite cleaning products are store-bought natural pure-castile soap, vinegar, rubbing alcohol, dish soap, and essential oils. These products will clean and polish your home just as well as harsh chemicals.
At My Neighbor's Maid, we only hire cleaners that are comfortable with pets. We do recommend that the pet be kept in a crate or room separate from the cleaners as we could be making loud and unfamiliar noises like vacuuming. If a pet is acting in an aggressive manner, our cleaners are trained to leave the home until we can reach you to discuss cleaning options. Please also note that My Neighbor's Maid will not clean up urine or feces left by the pet.
We understand that unexpected situations arise, and you may need to cancel your cleaning appointment. To help prevent last-minute cancellations, we send reminder emails and text messages before your scheduled service. My Neighbor's Maid requires at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations. You can notify us via email or voicemail. When canceling, we’ll gladly help you find a new time that works for you. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be subject to a 25% fee, while same-day cancellations will incur a 50% charge. All cancellations must go through our office.
Yes! Each and every cleaner at My Neighbor's Maid is both bonded and insured. We would be happy to provide proof of insurance upon request.
You do not need to be home in order for My Neighbor's Maid to clean. When you book with us, we will discuss how to enter the home and if you will be there or not. Most clients do prefer to be home for a first time or one time clean to show our cleaners around the home and give us information on which rooms could use some special attention. Our recurring clients often give us a spare key or door code for when they are not home for a scheduled clean.
Our housecleaners gladly accept tips, though they are never required. Many clients choose to leave a small tip after each cleaning, while others prefer to give a larger tip at the end of the year. We truly appreciate any gesture of gratitude! If you’d like to share your experience, we’d love for you to leave a review on our website or Facebook page.
As often as you like! Most of our clients prefer a bi-weekly cleaning cadence but some prefer weekly or monthly. We also offer one time cleans to best meet your cleaning needs.
For commercial clients we can provide services daily, either during the work day or after hours.
